Noticed the 3d category cloud on the right? Yhea I know it looks really good. It’s from a plugin called wp-cumulus available on the wordpress site. It allow you to display your tag cloud or your categories in this 3D sphere.
I was a bit worried about the code and how it would affect the speed of the site but it seems to load quickly enough and the code is clean. The plugin uses swfObject (see for more details) to embed the flash, all good.
The installation is dead easy: unzip, upload, activate, put widget, done.
God why am I so exited by fancy stuff?
