Automattic have released the latest version of WordPress 3.0 for its first release candidate version. The RC1 is now available to download from the wp site as well as auto upgrade if you are using the wp developer plugin.
Testing the RC is always a good to give back to the community. Download it install it and test it as best as you can. Then repport all bugs to the WordPress team or directly on trac if you have an account. That way they can identify and squash bugs more quickly and get the final release out sooner.
You don’t need to be a coder to test. Just be a user, that’s already enough.
