The king illustration I could watch for hours. The new version of the map, still in beta version, is based on the same concept as the previous ones.

Take the Tokyo train map and stick the most popular websites on it. There is around 300 sites listed here and the result is amazing. You can view it in pdf version, in paper version (A0!) or, the one that interest me for this blog, the clickable version.

This last version is as it’s name, a web based version, coded in html, where each name is a link to the website. Each link as a unique id and is aboluted positioned. Imagine, positioning each link one y one! I guess there is a way to do it in a image editor like Image Ready or Fireworks, but we all agree, hand code is the only true way isn’t it?
