Might sound weird or event not right but if you are a Window user, had the choice or not, you are using apache on you windows machine to develop your project.
That’s all good and stuff but to get a real accurate testing you should really test the stuff on something that is running on Linux. Why? Simply because it usually works better on Linux due to better optimisation of the Apache server.
It is not unheard of the see a site loading quicker when set on the production serer that is likely to be running a linux server os.
