This week’s winner is a French website: jeromeM.net. I’ve been struck by the simplicity yet originality of this website. Obviously this guy know what he is doing. Having a closer look at it again maid me think. Maybe I should call this category the “clean website of the week”…
The design
So yeah it’s clean fresh and simple. His logo is beautiful and the simplicity of the picture works well with the rest of the site. The only thing that bother me is the menu on the right hand side. Doesn’t look like a menu at first glance and could probably be improved a bit. Highlight the fact the the words are actually links maybe with underline or little arrows on the left.
The code
The xhtml strict valid is a reflexion of the design: simple but effective. I can’t fault it in any ways. It’s even commented here and there!
Follow the examples fellows, French people do it the right way.
