The featured site this week is all about the fantastic design. Getting crazy on the waltzers is a blog about music where the authors take a sentence and explain what it means. I think the concept is really cool but it’s all in language I can’t read unfortunately.
What strikes me when I go on this website is the massive header. It really is a piece of art, so colourful and vibrant. Their is such a dynamic with the guy that you almost expect to here his scream. The design definitely belong to the grungy trend with those brush stroke and handwritten title. The meta info at the bottom of each posts are not my taste however. I find them hard to read, with the dashed border to close to the text. Could use some padding around here.
The code is a nice valid wordpress template with some conditional stuff for ie.
