I have recently added an interesting website to the gallery. Dean Oakley’s portfolio is of course valid and is well coded but it also uses an horizontal navigation instead of the common vertical one.

I think this kind of effect works pretty well for simple site like this one. It makes it more unique, and that’s what you should look for when you build a portfolio but I also find it is very easy to navigate. I thought horizontal scrolling wasn’t working with the scroll wheel of the mouse but it does on FF3. I am not quite sure if it’s because of FF3 or if it has always been like that and that’s just me not noticing it.

Nice work, hope to see more unique website like this one in the future.
