Mozilla release Firefox RC1

The FireFox team has released yesterday the first release candidate version of Firefox 3. More and more used, and not only by geek, FireFox is a free open source navigator.

This last version include numerous bug fixes, amelioration and new features we will all enjoy soon. Read this article from mozillaLinks for a full review about ff3.

Javascript framework roundup

There is plenty ofo different javascript framework out there. If you haven’t used one before, and you are dealing with javascript very often you better try cause you won’t regret it. Particulary usefull for fancy stuff, animation and Ajax.

Here is a quick overview of the most popular javascript framework. I don’t think one is really better than an other. They all have pretty much the same abilities and it’s up to your coding style really.

Web pages performance, best practices

I have stumble upon a nice article from Ajaxian, showing up Yahoo! new release of performance best practices guide. If performance is not something we always think about it is also a key in the success of a website.

Serve your user with a 200 kb home page and I bet you wont get any good traffic on it. Some of the tips given are for the experienced people only but most are very understandable. Very nice reading.

It is not a secret it is a fact. Structure your code will always be useful. If you work in a team or if you often re-open old projects you will see that having a well structured file decrease considerably the effort needed to maintain and understand the document.

Don’t click it, the future of Internet?

I have found this website from Stumbleupon this morning. The idea was to create a website where users don’t need to click to navigate. My first thought was:”God this can’t work” but after browsing the site I can really get into it and forget to click. I was even enjoyable at the end.

Now about the question is it the future of Internet I would say no for one reason: it’s in flash…
