Running a gallery site as a certain advantage. Instead of trying to find good websites, they come directly to you. Ok, not all of the submissions are good but I believe one can learn even from a bad website.
I gonna try to summarise what I’ve received over the past few month and guess what is coming next. Some style are the same as last year, but some evolve and mix different inspirations to bring something new and fresh.

Water colours, grungy and textures
Huge Background
Textures and real life effect are definitely making their way through. I think designer have always wanted to make things look like real and with the democratisation of high speed connection we can now use larger and larger images. The Bravanonna is a good example of this “like real” which is like the Figurative trend in painting.
I believe organic elements in designs bring back the user into the real world and take off this “What I see is not real, this is just loads of 0 and 1″.
