Close-up Translations, winner of the week
And it’s already Friday, time for our site of the week post. This week I chose a nice little translation company called Close-up Translations. I love the colours and the style is a weird mix of grundy/clean/retro that somehow works very well.
And it’s packed full of nice little details, but I’ll tell you more later.

Even if I don’t understand a word of German, I would trust this company because their web presence is far above the competition. Design is multicultural and multi language. That’s why a good design gives more credit to a company, which on the web, is everything.

Corvus, winner of the week
This week it’s a rather grungy website that made it to the top. Corvus a design studio from California have recently redesigned their website for something more “organic”. I haven’t add a chance to see the previous unfortunately but I love this one.
Getting crazy on the waltzers, winner of the week
The featured site this week is all about the fantastic design. Getting crazy on the waltzers is a blog about music where the authors take a sentence and explain what it means. I think the concept is really cool but it’s all in language I can’t read unfortunately.

The author of this site originally submitted a micro site about his panda on sale. But because the car was already sold when I visited it I saw there was no point advertising this so I started looking at the root domain from where the panda site was.
