All this war about open format and getting rid of Flash is starting to look really funny. The giant Pomme can’t be bothered working on its closed up platform so it says “HTML is the future, we wont do anything with Flash”.
Well, well, well. There is of course some valid points on both sides. It is true that Flash as not got a bright future as a video container, because it is not very efficient and because better alternative are coming out (Hello HTML 5 and h.264). But it is a very good animation tool, and comes with a powerful scripting language, ActionScript.
Flash will not die, HTML 5 is the future of video.
